SIDEIUS was born from the experience and history of TEC Eurolab, a leading reference in testing, certification, and technical training services for highly specialized industrial sectors.
After years of growth and consolidation in the field of destructive and non-destructive testing, process qualifications, and accredited certifications, the need arose to give a new form and identity to a set of skills that have progressively extended beyond the original boundaries of the laboratory.
SIDEIUS represents the natural evolution of this journey: an industrial entity that inherits the technical-scientific heritage and operational rigor of TEC Eurolab, but which was created with the aim of being a partner capable of integrating services, knowledge, and scientific method in an even broader, cross-functional, and strategic way.

Today, SIDEIUS is an industrial ecosystem organized into four Business Units, each specialized in a distinct field and capable of operating independently or in synergy with the others, depending on the client’s needs:
- TEC Eurolab — Testing, destructive and non-destructive analysis, and engineering applied to the validation of materials and processes.

Why SIDEIUS
The choice of the name SIDEIUS reflects the technical, scientific, and cultural identity of the project.
The term is born from the union of two elements:
“SIDE-” recalls the steel industry (siderurgia), the transformation of metals, and the link with matter and technology—foundational elements of our industrial journey.
“-IUS“, from Latin, evokes the concept of norm, law, methodological rigor, and compliance with standards. It is a reference to the regulatory and accredited context in which we operate every day.
To this synthesis is added a broader cultural reference: the Sidereus Nuncius by Galileo Galilei.
A reference to modern scientific thought, based on observation, measurement, and experimentation. But also an ideal opening toward the dimension of exploration and the frontier: just as Galileo scanned the sky, expanding the boundaries of knowledge, SIDEIUS looks toward space, technological innovation, and new fields of scientific inquiry.
The Logotype
The four Galilean satellites, stylized around an ideal center, represent observation, precision, constant inquiry, and technical-scientific rigor. They ideally represent the various divisions that make up Sideius: Testing, Training, Certification, Test Engineering, and Automated in-line control.
The trajectory that envelops them symbolizes our orientation toward innovation, development, and continuous discovery.
