TEC EUROLAB
What we do for the electronics industry
We support companies in the electronics industry in verifying that the expected performance matches the actual application in operation
TEC Eurolab provides a transversal range of services. It supports the entire production chain of: electronic boards, pins, wiring harnesses, electric motors, solenoid valves, sensors as well as other components specific to the electronics sector, which increasingly requires third-party verification to confirm and establish the characteristics of components in compliance with technical supply specifications.
TEC Eurolab’s activities support all the production phases: from the concept born in the R&D departments, to the industrialisation phase and production, developing with the customer a validation test plan for the entire production process.
THE SCENARIO
What tests are used to determine and certify the best performance of an electronic component and its constituent materials?
Electronic components are now present in every device and are subject to multiple uses, even in particularly critical conditions and exposed to thermal, mechanical and chemical stress. Given the heterogeneous applications, it is essential to be certain that these materials are safe and durable over time, just as they have been conceived, designed and manufactured.
OUR SOLUTION
TEC Eurolab through destructive, non-destructive and functional tests, supports the customer in verifying the correspondence between the initial idea of performance and its real application in service.
TEC Eurolab through specific technical skills and applying investigation methodologies can verify characteristics such as:
- mechanical resistance
- fatigue resistance
- chemical resistance
- resistance to thermal shock or cyclical changes in temperature
- atmospheric ageing
The laboratory supports companies in obtaining ROHS certification and carries out specific analyses according to IPC-TM-650.
